报告摘要：EI categories are categories for which every endomorphism is an isomorphism. They include groups as special examples. In 1979, Warren Dicks characterized groups whose group algebra is hereditary. In this talk, we describe a recent work of the speaker and Lackmann, characterizing infinite EI categories with finite factorization property such that the left module category is hereditary, as well as applications to some important EI categories such as transporter categories, orbit categories, and Quillen categories.
